- Eco-Fuel is an alternative and renewable energy based fuel product made from waste and is the latest in cutting-edge sustainable energy technology innovation, circular economy frameworks and environmental engineering.
- Eco-Fuel can be made entirely from landfill, household and municipal wastes. A refreshing fact after realising that over 87% of the world’s wastes (food scraps, plastics and tyres etc.) are NOT recycled.
- Through the Eco-Fuel process over 90% of landfill wastes can be processed; organic wastes (e.g. food scraps and plastics) are converted to the Eco-Fuel product whilst inorganic wastes are simultaneously separated and sorted for recycling (e.g. recycled aggregate for roadbase etc.).
- Eco-Fuel can be used as base-load renewable power or heat generation in any conventional power station or combustion furnace without issues of intermittency.
- In the case of fossil fuel power stations (e.g. coal or gas), Eco-Fuel can be used to supplement or completely replace the fossil fuel source; effectively transitioning conventional fossil fuel power stations into renewable power stations simply by changing the fuel source whilst keeping the engineering infrastructure.
- Eco-Fuel can be made up to 1.5x the power efficiency of coal and can be dynamically controlled as part of the process depending on customer specifications.
- The combustion of Eco-Fuel meets international environmental regulations and displaces fossil fuels alongside household and landfill waste materials and their related greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) which would exist if the waste was allowed to decompose (i.e. not be used in the production and utility of Eco-Fuel).
